Starting today, the farmer’s market at Truman Medical Center is open every Wednesday for the summer season.

The market has run from April through November for the past several years.

It is stocked by the produce company that supplies the hospital, makes everything from fresh vegetables to dried pasta and spices available.

It’s open to the public, including the 10,000 people who work in the vicinity of Truman at 2301 Holmes.

Last year, the market served 15,000 customers, as many as 600 a day.

Truman also has registered dieticians on hand most weeks to answer questions about healthy eating.
