Police ask help to ID south KC shooter, dog killer

dog-killerPolice today asked for public help in identifying a sketch of a man who shot a victim four times and killed Duke, the victim’s dog.

The reward in the case stands at $15,000 for anonymous information provided to the Greater Kansas City Crime Stopper’s TIPS Hotline, the group said in a media release today.

The victim was shot in February in an apparent robbery after returning home to the 1000 block of West 111th Street.

He survived the attack but his dog was shot to death.

The composite sketch is a representation created with witness input.
