Next phase of Midtown planning looks at sections of Midtown

The city has announced the next meeting dates for the Midtown-Plaza Area Plan.

“The Midtown-Plaza Area Plan process is moving forward and entering an important stage where the discussion makes a transition from “global” to ‘neighborhood oriented’ issues,” according to a press release.  “In order to accomplish this, there will be series of Midtown-Plaza Area Plan Public Work Team Meetings that break the planning area into five sub-regions.  These meetings will incorporate previous feedback; explore current plan policies and the desired future.“

When completed, the plan will incorporate the principles of FOCUS, the city’s comprehensive strategic guide, and consolidate some out-of-date plans and will be used to guide decision making at city hall.
