Doug Buehler took over the position of Feb. 8, replacing Tammy Queen who had served in the position since 2010. Queen was recently promoted to Deputy Director of Finance

The city says Buehler will oversee the daily operation of the Treasury Division of the Finance Department.  This includes posting and reconciliation for $1.4 billion in annual cash receipts, procurement of banking services, management of the City’s $900 million investment portfolio and its $2.5 billion debt portfolio.

Buehler has been the Manager of Investments for nearly 15 years and will continue to serve as acting Manager of Investments until that position is filled.

“Doug has been a tremendous asset to the Finance Department for nearly 15 years,” states Randall Landes, Director of Finance, in a news release. “His expertise and professionalism will make him a valuable member of the senior management team.”
