The Kansas City School District has scheduled a press conference for 6:30 this evening to share “very important information about the future of KCPS.”
The Pitch is reporting that Superintendent Stephen Green is the sole finalist for a job with the DeKalb County School District in Atlanta. The Star also has a story.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Green is expected to take the position as superintendent there.
Green has been superintendent since 2012. His contract with the Kansas City district extends to 2018.
