Man charged in Arrowhead death

arrowhead-killingJackson County prosecutors have charged an Independence man in a beating death in the parking lot at Arrowhead Stadium.

Joshua T. Bradley, 23, was arrested today on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.

According to court records:

Kyle Van Winkle, 30, died of brunt force injuries after the beating on Dec. 1.

He got into a green Jeep similar to and near the one he had gone to the game in and went to sleep. The Jeep owner could not wake him and sent his son to get help.

Bradley was among those responding.

A witness told police: “that bigger feller (suspect) he walked away and something was said and he turned around and just started hitting him (victim).”

“The witness stated the victim went to the ground and the suspect hit him while he was on the ground.”
