Events like the upcoming Kansas City Irish Festival this weekend are always looking for some kind of hook, but this year the fest is trying something new.
Feeling lucky? Maybe you can win your own personalized port-a-potty for use at this weekend’s Irish fest.
Forget green beer – an overdone insult to the natural sheen of fine brew – and think of the comfort that comes with the toilet status of royalty.
On each of the three fest days at the event at Crown Center, one person will win exclusive use of a locked port-a-potty that looks like an Irish castle.
At an event that last year drew 97,000 people, these fortunate few will face no long and possibly painful waits in line.
They can share the key with friends if they want, or keep it all for themselves.
