Expect to be seeing come pretty amazing vintage cars around Midtown this weekend.

The Art Institute’s annual Art of the Car Concours will bring more than 200 vintage, classic, special-interest vehicles and hot rods from throughout the country into town. Additionally, several vintage cars will be on display in front of Tivol during an Art the Car Concours preview Saturday.

Organizers have also arranged a “Meet the Legends” panel discussion that will cover the emergence of the hot rod as a major form of automotive expression in the post World War II era.
