The parks department is looking for input into how to make Washington Square Park a more open and active space. There’s a meeting on April 16 (see details below).
Washington Square Park is a 5-acre area near Crown Center with the statue of George Washington, trees and pathways.
At the public meeting, a design team will show examples of how park redevelopment projects in other cities have spurred growth and economic development while making the park a more open and active space.
