Missouri Governor Jay Nixon will be at the University of Missouri-Kansas City today for an announcement on college affordability.
His office says, “since taking office, the Governor has made it a priority to provide all students with access to an affordable, quality higher education and over the last six years, Missouri has led the nation in holding down tuition increases at public universities.”
Nixon is expected to announce additional steps being taken by the state to put a college education within reach for more students.
