Missouri drivers rank as the 10th worst in the nation, according to a new report.
Carinsurancecomparison.com based the state rankings on data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Speeding and careless driving pulled down the Missouri ranking this year, but it did improve from ranking 7th worse last year.
South Carolina and Montana tied as the states with the worst drivers and Texas ranked number 3.
Kansas ranked number 35 on the list.
Other factors that are considered include the rate of fatalities, failure of obey, drunk driving and careless driving.
