Friends of Library book sale at Uptown Shoppes

The Friends of the Kansas City Public Library are hosting a book sale in conjunction with the Pitch’s Crafts and Drafts festival at the Uptown Shoppes in Valentine on November 7th. The book sale will continue on November 8th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., but the sponsors suggest getting there early  for the best selection.

Prices range from $2 for new and notable, history, nature, geography, art and coffee table books; $1 for hardcover books, CDs, audiobooks and DVDs; and $.50 for paperbacks. Some rare and antique books, priced individually, will also be available. No children’s books or cookbooks will be offered at this event.
