Express bus routes canceled across KC metropolitan area

The latest info on bus routes.

Based on current weather predictions for early morning travel, and in support of the City of Kansas City, Mo.’s declared state of emergency, the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (ATA) is announcing that it will delay Metro and MAX service on Tuesday, Feb. 26 until 7 a.m.

However, the following routes will not operate:

15X Truman Road Express
28XX Blue Ridge Express
37XX N. Broadway Express
38X Meadowbrook Express
51X Ward Parkway Express
69X Liberty Express
471X Red Bridge Express
170 Blue Springs Express
152 Lee’s Summit/Raytown Express

On Tuesday, customers should check current information before traveling. A suspension of service will be a last resort.

Earlier in the day, Johnson County Transit and Unified Government Transit announced they would not operate at all on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Inde-Bus in Independence will also have a delay in service on Tuesday.
