The city is hosting a big party on the riverfront tomorrow and you’re invited.

According to the city, KC Riverfest will feature live, local music on two stages, more than 10 food trucks and food vendors, cold drinks and ice cream, a giant kids’ play area and a custom fireworks show by the 120-year-old Zambelli Fireworks company, one of the largest pyrotechnic firms in the world.

KC RiverFest’s entertainment lineup includes DJ Kim Badami, Boogie Wonderland, Flannigan’s Right Hook, Drew6, and The Zeros on the Port Authority Main Stage; and Vi Tran Band, Jorge Arana Trio, Eddie Moore & the Outer Circle, and Akkilles on the Pitch Music Stage.

The fireworks extravaganza – set against a backdrop of the mighty Missouri River and the downtown skyline – will get underway at dark (or around 10:15 p.m.).
