City offices will be closed for Veterans Day and also for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. The 311 Call Center, a division of the City Manager’s Office, will also be closed.
During the city-observed holidays, trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day. The trash and recycling schedule for Veterans Day and Thanksgiving will be as follows:
Veterans Day, Nov. 11
- Trash and recycling will be collected on Monday, Nov. 10.
- Residents who usually have Tuesday trash collection will receive this service Wednesday, Nov. 12.
- Residents who usually have Friday trash collection will receive this service Saturday, Nov. 15.
Thanksgiving Holiday, Nov. 28-29
- Residents who usually have Thursday trash and recycling collection will receive this service Friday, Nov. 28.
- Residents who usually have Friday collection will receive this service Saturday, Nov. 29.
- In addition, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be open Monday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 26 and closed Thursday, Nov. 27 through Tuesday, Dec. 2 in observance of the holiday.
