The big Waddell & Reed Kansas City Marathon passes through Midtown this weekend. Race organizers are expecting 10,000 participants.
During the race, several Midtown streets are closed, so plan ahead.
It begins at 7 a.m. at Crown Center and travels along Main Street through the Plaza, up Gillham and Harrison, along Armour and the Paseo. The race is scheduled to end at 2 p.m.
