“Burglars made off with thousands of dollars in electronics, tobacco and 40 hookah pipes after breaking into a midtown Kansas City hookah lounge this weekend,” the The Kansas City Star is reporting. The newspaper adds that the break in was discovered Saturday at the Ali Baba Hookah Lounge, 3421 Broadway and police reported a large hole was discovered in the rear wall of the business. A loss of more than $25,000 in property was reported to police, according to the article.
