Broadway closed from 27th to 31st

Beginning today, Broadway Boulevard will be closed from 27^th Street to 31^st Street until about July 31^st.

According to the city, the Broadway Bridge over 30th Street will be closed for replacement. This work will last for approximately 60 days and will close Broadway, northbound and southbound, between 27th Street and 31st Street.

DETOURS: 

Southbound traffic will be routed off of Broadway to Penn Drive at 27th (around the lake) and south to 31st Street (merges with Pennsylvania) and then east back to Broadway. 

Northbound traffic will be routed east to Main Street at 31st Street, north on Main Street to Pershing and then west back to Broadway at Pershing.

The city advises that you might add a few minutes to your daily commute if you take this route.
