A picture is worth a thousand words: Meth is bad

Law enforcement agencies across the country have a new campaign against meth. They are showing before and after pictures of drug users’ faces, hoping to deter teens from getting started on drugs that can ruin their lives – and their looks.

From Master Patrol Officer Jim Schriever’s always informative and interesting daily crime report we get a glimpse of a new tool in drug prevention. The KCPD’s community outreach officer has shared these before and after photos of meth users. He says law enforcement agencies across the country are hoping to get a message out to young people that meth takes a terrible toll on their bodies. The pictures of the teeth alone should be enough to scare anyone straight.
